Travelling to GeoENV10
The most convenient airport to fly to is Brussels. From there you can take a train to Ghent (station Gent-Sint-Pieters): here is information on train hours (Traveling from Brussels Airport to Gent-Sint-Pieters).At the station Gent-Sint-Pieters, you can take a tram into the city center (line 1, 21 or 22). On this map of Gent, the important meeting points of GeoENV10 are indicated.
To go to the Conference Venue (Faculty of Bioscience Engineering, Coupure Links 653) there are two options:
- From the city center: the Conference Venue is located at 15 min walking distance
- From the station: take tramway 21 (direction Melle Leeuw) or 22 (direction Gentbrugge DC). Get off at the Rosemarijn bridge just before the canal. Cross the road and follow Coupure links (along the canal). The entrance of the Faculty is on the next corner, just in front of the pedestrian bridge.
The Conference Venue is held in Building E, the workshops in Building B. You can find their location on the faculty map.
